There is NOT enough hours in a day or days in a week! I know I’m preaching to the choir on this one. (And we could all use an extra day of a weekend, if I do say so myself.) But however, we must learn to manage with the given calendar we have. Our Family Matters time-saver service benefits anyone and everyone with to get your hours back. Our mission is to give you your life back to you can spend quality time with your family and make some room for yourself. This blog is all about shortcuts. We love finding ways to save time while simultaneously getting things done efficiently.
Here in the Bay Area, it seems that every hour is rush hour. According a recent ABC7 News Report, the San Francisco Bay Area is #3 on the Worst Traffic Congestion in the country-just behind LA and New York. Drivers here spent 79 hours last year sitting in congestion during peak time periods.
Beat the traffic, even at commute hours! Download, what we call, anti-traffic apps to save a bucket load of time!
Okay, I know I just advocated for traffic apps like Waze to save you time BUT there are apps that you want but do not NEED. Are you one of those people that has more than 5 games on your phone? AND play them daily? Hate to break it to you, games clog up so much storage space on our phones. Once you downsize to 1 or 2 games, you’ll notice that your phone will be faster and will not overheat as often as it already does. OKAY. Now, do you play all these games before bed and end up going to bed hours later than planned? Or when you “need to” procrastinate? You will notice a big impact on how you utilize your free time once these apps are deleted.
“I have zero games on my phone. I keep Instagram because I manage work accounts but other than that—I keep my apps to a bare minimum. Today’s society is glued to technology. I do my very best to unplugged and channel out of the tech world as much as I can. Not just for my sanity, but for my health. It’s wonderful to put the devices down and prioritize what really needs to get done.” –Alina, Family Matters assistant
We understand those rushed mornings are among all of us now that the kids are in school, extracurricular activities in the evenings, work is up to our ears. It’s funny how the most essential of items are misplaced….keys, wallets, phone purse. Instead of wasting time looking for them, save time by knowing where it already is! Have a regular place for things and put them back where you found them.
Use a calendar and write down everything you need to do and when you need to do it – on the same calendar. Electronic or not—what matters is that you create a one-stop shop, click here to see how to build your own Command Center.
