Valentines Day is one of our favorite holidays! And yes, the chocolate has a lot to do with it. But this is the day celebrate love. The love of all purpose of life. We feel that this is the perfect opportunity to share the love with your family. We all need to be cherished and be appreciated. Valentines Day is the we need to remind our loved ones that, well, we LOVE them ♥. Your partner, your children, your parents, your best friends…share the love!
1. Letter of Appreciation
Nothing speaks louder than words than a token of a letter. We get it, it’s so hard to speak out our emotional side but writing it out to a kind and dear letter will be just as meaningful. Give it as a gift too! That way the recipient can keep it forever. Write one for your parents, your children, your significant other…share the love. The greatest love of all ♥ Be specific. Be detailed. The personal details you include mean the most. Share what you love the most about them. “I love the way scrunch your nose when you’re confused.” “I love how you always find time to make the kids breakfast in the morning.” or if writing to your parents, “I love you because you sacrificed everything so I can have the life I have today.” A bullet points of appreciation will warm their heart ♥
2. Breakfast Time!
Nothing better than a heart shaped breakfast! Start the day right with most important meal of the day ☺ Fun way to open Valentines Day card and letters. And hey, breakfast for one? Why not!
3. The Greatest Love of All
Surround yourself with the positive and upbeat love songs! Play the songs that make you feel your happiest. Skip the “brokenhearted” ones. What is your cup of tea?
“I love me some Michael Jackson music. I don’t care what time of day or night it is. I don’t care where I am. If I hear Michael Jackson, my mood is automatically lifted. There’s always those feel good songs what genuinely make me happy! You HAVE to play those songs that you dance to when you nobody’s watching.” -Alina, assistant Family Matters.
4. Do yourself a favor…
….and AVOID restaurants. I mean, unless you have reservations at a low key private restaurants but still. AVOID the crowds. Nothing worse than a Valentine’s date with long waits and chaos. Not trying to be a Debby Downer but why not have this day stress-free and the greatest it can be! Impress your honey with one of these unique, unconventional and fun night out!
