Family Matters celebrated 5 Years In The Making last Thursday with the San Ramon Chamber, their supporters and friends!
Kim is so overwhelmed with the love and kind words everyone shared with her and her special guests, her parents.
As Kim said, “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing and supporting Family Matters and our team. Because of all our clients, supporters and referrals, Family Matters is where we are today and we thank you for your support.”
Owner, Kim Falahati personally prepared, cooked and catered the event. Her spread included chicken and waffles, french dip sliders, her famous spinach and artichoke dip, and her special dessert…irish cream cupcakes! Hearts filled with irish cream liqueur. YUMMM!!! Shout out to her amazing team Jessica, Stafford and Alina for helping serve 75+ guests. And special thank you to Sweet Life Speciality Foods for providing their gf, soy and dairy free chicken wraps and desserts.
Speech, Speech, Speech!
An hour into the event, Kim Falahati made a incredible moving speech that left everyone’s heart touched. As a dedicated Nanny to now a small business owner, her journey was not an easy one. Kim never imagined that this would be her path in life. With her degree in Psychology and a Certified Life Coach, everything fell magically into place as her passion of helping and nurturing others became her career. Working with families as a Teacher, Nanny, and House Manager, she noticed one consistent request from the families she worked with:
We wish we had more quality time to devote to our families and ourselves.
She took that request and it became her mission to do so.
A live testimony from her first client Greg, resonated with everyone’s hearts. Before Family Matters became established in 2013, Kim was a House Manager for him and his two teen children. He had been separated for almost 2 years and his family’s life was turned upside down. At a really trying time in their life, Kim was there to prep and cook their meals, unpack boxes, do their laundry, organize and make their home feel like home again, all while supporting and motivating their family through their emotional transition. He described Kim as his life saver and could not thank her enough. Kim Falahati’s perseverance, determination and compassion make her a true inspiration to all.
Not only is Kim a lifesaver, she is a blessing. She has touched all of our lives and we could never thank her enough for her selflessness and her beautiful and sparkling heart!
