Father’s Day is the perfect opportunity show appreciation to the fathers or father-figures in our lives. We acknowledge their contributions, their unconditional love, support, and selfless care. It’s the chance to get spend time with, and get closer to, the men you look up to.
For all fathers, including those who give the gift of a father’s love, we thank you for your support and love through it all. There aren’t enough words to express how important you are to us! We thank you!
FATHER’S DAY D.I.Y PROJECTS FOR KIDS
Handmade gifts are the absolute best! You can’t get that personal touch anywhere else.
Here are some easy and inexpensive DIY gifts to give to your dad!
#1) Painted Handprint Dress
This project is very conceptual which allows you to customize it to your liking!
Pink, blue, red, green, purple, yellow or orange! You pick your color paint. Tempera paint is the best choice because it is rich in color, vibrant and, most importantly, washable.
You can use felt to cut out the top part of the dress and also into a strip for the waistline. Adding a little bow or a jewel would add a cute touch
Customize your message with a Writing Gel Pen. “Happy Father’s Day 2017”, “I Love You”, “Love [your child’s name]” These custom touches are so sentimental and means the world. ♥
#2) Painted Footprint Racecar
-Start by choosing a color for the race car and painting your child’s foot.
-It may take few times to get a good footprint so maybe take separate pieces of cardstock and then cut out the print that turns out the best.
-Take your glitter glue and add in a racing stripe.
-Cut out the pieces out of construction paper for the wheels, helmet, and decorations you’d like to add to the race car.
-Use your glue stick to stick them onto the car (see below for placement).
-Add in a funny or sentimental message like “You make my heart race!” “Happy Father’s Day!” “I Love You.” Add your child’s name and date on the back
